David Murathe states his ‘problems’ with DP William Ruto
Former Jubilee Party Vice Chair David Murathe has come out to clear the air on his actual problem with Deputy President William Ruto.
In a live televised interview at one of the local TV stations, Mr. Murathe was asked the direct questions that needed to clear the air. Since December 2018, David Murathe, who is believed to be an insider of President Uhuru Kenyatta, has been attacking the Deputy President and insisting that he is not fit to be the next President of Kenya.
When asked if he had any personal problems with DP Ruto, he stated that he had already outlined several; and that it all started with the Jubilee party nominations [prior to the August 2017 general elections]. However, he said that he is not opposed to Ruto’s presidential bid but their is both legal and political argument to it.

Mr. Murathe further claimed that “Our party is Uhuru Kenyatta; if he moves to NASA tomorrow you will find us there. We share the same ideals with him (Uhuru Kenyatta) and we believe he has the best intentions for this country”
When asked if he is friends with President Kenyatta, he didn’t approve of that but rather stated that the President and him are ‘acquaintances’.
He also said that all the views he has been raising are personal and not the position of Jubilee Party.
On matters of DP Ruto aiming for the Presidency in 2022, Murathe has vowed to take the war to the Supreme Court so as to justify that the 2 Presidential terms tie both the President and the Deputy President.
