Chebukati to spend KSH 30 Million on world tour.
Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission Chairperson Wafula Chebukati is set to spend at least KSH 30 million on boundaries review bench-marking.
Chebukati together with other two commissioners Abdi Guliye and Boya Molu will visit South Africa, USA, Canada, Australia, India and Nigeria to learn more on boundaries review.
According to Kenyans the commissioners will start the world tour on March 25th. The controversial visit is surprising as the Commissioners set to visit South Africa which does not have constituencies.
“IEBC Chairman Wafula Chebukati and two commissioners will from Monday, March 25, embark on bench-marking tours of six countries at a cost of Ksh 30 Million.” posted Kenyans.
Multiple interviews and audit reports from the Auditor General reveals that IEBC cannot account how KSH 9 billion was spend in the last general election.
