Busia Administration Police honoured for her community input
Busia Administration Police (AP) Officer Doris Wako was honoured by Mama Ida Odinga on Friday for her role in helping the less fortunate in the society.
Ms. Wako was honoured after outshining 20 other contestants from seven sub counties in Busia County. The police came to lime light after she was captured sharing food with the street children.

The event which was attended by Mama Ida Odinga and Busia County Member of Parliament Florence Mutua lauded Wako for her role in the society.
Director of Criminal Investigations (DCI) George Kinoti also took to Social Media to share the story of the administration officer.
Wako a mother of one hails from Matayos Constituency in Busia County and has devoted her free time to serve the community. Through the support of her colleagues she has been able to reach to more street children in the town.
She was awarded on Friday during the International Women’s Day, an event organized by Hon. Mutua through the Affirmative Action Fund.
