Brenda first Covid 19 recoveree is back with a bang

Brenda Ivy Cherotich was the first Covid19 patient to recover from the disease in Kenya after battling the Virus for 22 days.

According to the Ministry of Health Brenda contracted the disease during a trip to New York. She was later admitted to Kenyatta National Hospital together with a friend identified as Brian Orinda.

After recovering fully from the disease fully the two had a virtual meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta. However, the Ministry of Health gave inconsistent information on how Ivy had contracted the disease and her recovery journey. A thing that attracted backlash from members of the public.

Netizens who trolled Brenda thought was a PR stunt by MoH. Brenda a beauty queen went missing in action until January this year.

On January 17, Ms Cherotich represented Kenya in the Miss Tourism International contest in Malaysia. The event that was hosted online attracted 31 countries.

Ivy won Miss Tourism Kenya, Kericho County edition in 2018. It seems she has moved on from trolling and negative energy and now focuses on her modeling career.
