Boni Khalwale protest arrest of a ganja farmer
Former Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has called out the police for arresting a man who had planted Marijuana in his garden.
The Bullfighter shared photo of marijuana plantation inside a vegetable garden on his social media page. The green cannabis plant can be spotted among the healthy spinach leaves.
According to the former senator, the suspect who is his friend was arrested after members of the public tipped the police about the plantation on his garden. Using United Democratic Alliance (UDA) slogan “Kazi ni Kazi” said we facing hard economic times justifying why the suspect planted marijuana.

” These are truly trying & challenging times! My good friend has just been arrested after the police were tipped that he was growing this cannabis sativa (aka bhang, aka inzaga, aka lisambu, aka inzoli, aka bangi, aka weed) in his garden!Kazi ni kazi.” Said Boni Khalwale.
The political class has been calling for the legalization of Marijuana. Among them, the late Ken Okoth, Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina, and economist David Ndii.
