Bodies of Mariam Kighenda and Amanda Mutheu retrieved
The car together with the body of 35-year-old Mariam Kighenda and her 4-year-old daughter Amanda Mutheu that drowned in the Indian Ocean has been retrieved.
The car was spotted yesterday by the Kenya Navy in help of the rescue team that have been camping at the ocean for the last 12 days.
On the fateful day the two were travelling on their Toyota Isis, that reversed and slid off the MV Harambee ferry which was midstream.
Government Spokesperson Col (Rtd) Cyrus Oguna, while addressing the press hinted out that a requiem mass will be held at the scene of the event.
