Kenya-born Bahraini athlete Eunice Jepkirui Kirwa has been suspended by IIAF for failing the anti doping test.
The Rio Olympic silver medal winner tested positive of the banned blood-booster Erythropoietin (EPO)

IAAF’s Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) who confirmed the report issued Jepkirui a notice for breaching Article 2.1 of the World Anti-Doping (WADA) code.

Jepkirui becomes the second to be handed suspension from athletics for doping after 3000m steeplechase Olympic champion Ruth Jebet.
Kenyan athletes have also faced the wrath of IIAF for failing the test, Asbel Kiprop being the recent one though he disputed the results.
Kiprop claims his test was interfered after he refused to offer bribe to WADA officials .
